Christmas Rose Ball
This is a Christmas Ball that I made out of burnt satin. Looks like little roses. I think I'll try smaller ornaments next.

Give your silk flower's vase a lift...
How many times have you wanted to use a glass vase but couldn't because the silk flower stem would show through? Looks pretty bad. Well, I thought a good way to use old material, I used an old sheer from a window, would be to push them in the vase before the flowers, and then add the flowers to the middle, leaving some of the material to flow over at the top of the vase. This gives a fresh and flowing look to the vase and flowers, and hides the stem besides...I also use petals from the flowers pushed in the glass vase before I place the floral arrangement inside.
